The city I love-Madras. It is the only Indian city to have been attacked during WW I, and has withstood the other 'ravages of time'. And today it is still bold and beautiful as ever.
From the wide and traffic-jammed lifeline Mount Road to the congested streets of Parry's Corner with a life of their own; from the sandy beaches of Besant Nagar that can take your breath away despite the breeze 😂, to the air-conditioned Urban hangouts(rings a bell?); from the high-end restaurants and hotels like Mathura, Buhari, Dario's to the roadside idli and Omelette vendors; from the Connemara Library to the multitude of Malls (Spencer's -how are you😪)and theatres like Sathyam Cinemas where you can chill; from Globus to Pantheon Road where you can have your pick, name it and you have it. Madras is one of the most beautiful, safest, oldest cities on the planet. It encompasses extremes and is a world by itself. Here is my tribute to this lovely city...
